The LVPEI family is happy and proud to share that Dr Vinay A Shah, an alumnus, has been awarded the 'Thelma Gaylord Endowed Chair in Ophthalmology' at the Dean McGee Eye Institute and the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is what he has to say: 'Without a doubt between my fellowships, residencies and all the other training that I received in India and the USA, the one that has impacted me the most and has shaped me into the Ophthalmologist and physician that I am today, is my LVPEI experience! Thank you for all that you have done for me, and for all the other countless trainees whose lives have been changed after being part of the LVPEI family.'
