The cycle of care continues

'It was incredible how the LVPEI team helped in saving a young tribal man’s vision. He went to the forest to get firewood and badly injured his eye with a bushy thorn. He walked nine km from his remote village to the LVPEI Vision Centre in Muniguda in Odisha, which is located in our office premises. Due to COVID, the centre was closed, but this did not delay the care. We were immediately guided by the LVPEI team to take him to their secondary centre at Rayagada. Thanks to the prompt quality care provided by the doctor and staff there, his vision could be saved, and he is doing well now.”'
