GITAM Deemed to be University has entered into an MoU with LVPEI to promote closer interactions between teams of scientists and faculty through various research activities, joint seminars, workshops and conferences. As part of the MoU, GITAM and LVPEI will collaborate for research in eye health, particularly ophthalmic sciences - ocular microbiology, pathology, epidemiology, innovation, artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, and ocular genetics. GITAM Deemed to be University Registrar - Prof D Gunasekharan and LVPEI Network Director Education - Dr Avinash Pathengay signed the MoU. Also present were GITAM Vice-Chancellor - Prof K Sivaramakrishna and LVPEI Visakhapatnam Campus Head - Dr Bhavik Panchal.
