Goutham Pyatla, under the mentorship of Dr Subhabrata Chakrabarti, has been awarded a PhD by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal. His doctoral research focused on exploring multiallelic interactions in the pathogenesis of primary congenital glaucoma, contributing valuable insights into the complex genetic mechanisms underlying this rare but serious eye condition.
