Sudipta Mahato, a PhD Scholar at LVPEI, has been honoured with the 'Disease Models & Mechanisms Conference Travel Grant' from from The Company of Biologists, a not-for-profit science publishing organization. This recognition acknowledges her exceptional work titled "En31FnCas9-based adenine base editors for precision editing in patient-specific iPSCs and correction of two pathogenic mutations linked to Leber Congenital Amaurosis (LCA)". Sudipta will present her research at the upcoming Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) annual meeting scheduled for May 2024.
