The Second edition of LVPEI's Whitathon, a run to raise awareness and funds for poor children with eye cancer, was organized on 19 May 2019. The Hon'ble Governor of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Sri E.S.L. Narasimhan and his wife Smt Vimala Narasimhan, and the Commissioner of Police, Sri Anjani Kumar were the guests of honour. The run was a huge success with 3000 participants and received generous support from many more sponsors, partners and volunteers.
