Another milestone achieved in the rural eye care network

The LVPEI network of rural eye care secondary centres has achieved the milestone of performing 100+ surgeries under general anaesthesia in September 2019. Majority of the patients who underwent these surgeries were young children having cataract and squint. This facility was introduced in 2018 and is currently available at the secondary centres at Kottur and Adilabad in Telangana.
