Celebrating the 10 Years ROP Journey of LVPEI Bhubaneswar

To celebrate the 10 years ROP journey of LVPEI Bhubaneswar, the following activities were organized:
-Awareness talks for the general public were delivered by Dr Tapas Ranjan Padhi and Dr Umesh Behera on local radio FM channel
– Awareness talk was organized for the paediatricians from the Government SNCUs in Odisha in the five districts of Khurda, Bhadrak, Rayagada, Puri and Sambalpur
– On 17 November 2018, which marked the completion of the 10 years of ROP services, the institute was illuminated in the purple colour associated with the colour of World Prematurity Day
– Awareness videos on ROP were played in all the patient waiting for lounge areas and badges with ROP awareness message were given to the team members and patients
– A CME was organized for paediatricians, neonatologists, paediatric residents and neonatal nurses at Cuttack
