Dr Javed Ali has been appointed ‘DAAD Professor of Ophthalmology and Anatomy’ in the Bavarian State (South-east of Germany). DAAD is a prestigious international funding agency. The core responsibilities will be to teach Dacryology and provide impetus to lacrimal research in Germany.
