LVPEI’s Bhosle Gopal Rao Patil Eye Centre, Mudhole, organized an on-campus health check-up and vaccination program for its staff

LVPEI’s Bhosle Gopal Rao Patil Eye Centre, Mudhole, signed an MOU with the Aalekhya Hospital in September 2022, for organizing annual health check-ups and vaccination programs for LVPEI’s staff at its Mudhole campus. The first ever collaborative health check-up organized under this initiative was held from 30th December 2022 – 5th January 2023 which benefitted a total of 81 staff members including on-roll employees, fellow doctors, outsourced and contractual employees. Those due to be vaccinated for Hepatitis B and Typhoid were given the vaccination. This program was held towards partial completion of the institute’s commitment to employee healthcare benefits and also as a mandatory requirement per NABH Pre-Entry level guidelines.
