MoU Between LVPEI Drushti Daan Eye Bank & District HQ Hospital Kendrapara, Odisha

The Drushti daan Eye Bank at LVPEI’s Bhubaneswar campus signed an MoU with the District Headquarter Hospital at Kendarapara in Odisha for harvesting (collecting) donor corneas. This is an important initiative towards ensuring zero waiting time for patients in need of corneal transplantation in the state. Seven districts in Odisha are now part of the ‘Cornea harvesting network’ of Drushti daan Eye Bank.
