Second Ocular Surface Scholarly Clinic

The Second Ocular Surface Scholarly Clinic was organised at LVPEI’s Bhubaneswar campus on 17 August under the mentorship of Dr Sayan Basu, Director, Center for Ocular Regeneration (CORE). The highlights were: 

• Case-based discussions
• Evaluation and examination of patients with ocular surface problems
• Practical demonstration of the sequential procedures involved in performing Mucous Membrane Grafting and Simple Limbal Epithelial Transplantation
• Useful tips on better surgical management of such patients

The training session was highly interactive and was attended by the cornea faculty, cornea and comprehensive fellows and DNB residents.
