Dr Taraprasad Das: Delivered the prestigious Dr. SS Badrinath Endowment Lecture; topic – Understanding the science of fungal endophthalmitis

Dr Tapas Ranjan Padhi: Received the ‘Col. Rangachari – Best Free Paper Award’ and the ‘Best Paper in Vitreo-Retinal Diseases’; Title: Can rate of vascular outgrowth be a predictor for treatment in babies with ROP? 

Dr Vivek Dave: Received (a) ‘Narsing A Rao – Best Free Paper Award – Uvea Section’; Title: Comparative outcomes in endophthalmitis caused by biofilm positive and biofilm negative bacteria (b) Best free paper – Vitreo Retinal Diseases -1 session; Title Sub-retinal injection of stem cell-derived RPE cells: 6 months safety and integration in a rat model
