Jachin David Williams A

Jachin David Williams graduated in English literature and mobility science for the disabled from Madras University, Tamil Nadu. He then did his masters in Sociology from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, followed by a Diploma in Community Eye Health (DCEH) from LVPEI, Hyderabad. He started his carrier as a Coordinator for the Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation and Education Program for the Differently Abled, and Mother and Child Health Program implemented by Moses Gnanabaranam Eye Hospital, Dharapuram, Tamil Nadu. Later he joined LVPEI and is currently in-charge of the Community Eye Health and Community Based Rehabilitation Programs of GPR-ICARE, LVPEI. He is also actively involved in teaching and research in community eye care. He has extensive experience in carrying-out community screenings and health awareness programs for various community sectors and institutions.
