Bharat Panigrahy completed his post-graduation in Internal Medicine followed by a two year EULAR certified course in Rheumatology. Further, he also completed a one year course in Paediatric Rheumatology. Dr Bharat has earlier served as the Director and Head of the Department, Medicine and Critical Care at the Government Capital Hospital, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha.
A Fellow of the Indian College of Physicians and the American College of Physicians, Dr Bharat Panigrahy is the founder president of the All India Association of Advanced Research in Obesity (AIAARO), Odisha. He is also a member of the American Diabetic Association & Endocrine Society and a life member of the Indian Society of Critical Care, Diabetes in Pregnancy study – India and Diabetic Foot Association.
Currently serving as the Indian Rheumatology Association’s Executive Patron, he served as its past president besides serving as the president of the Association’s East Zone in 2021 and 2022. He also served as Chairman, The Association of Physicians Odisha State in 2021.
A speaker at various national, zonal & state conferences, Dr Bharat Panigrahy has 11 publications and 5 book chapters to his credit.
