Dr Arjun Banerjee completed his MBBS from Burdwan Medical College and Hospital, Bardhaman, West Bengal, and his MD in Microbiology postgraduate degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bibinagar, Telangana.
He has served as a Junior Resident at the ESI-PGIMSR and ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata, as a Junior Registrar at Tata Main Hospital, Jamshedpur, and as a Senior Resident at the Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Hyderabad, and at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi, before joining LVPEI’s Jhaveri Microbiology Centre.
He has several research publications to his credit and has delivered presentations and posters at various national-level microbiology conferences.
