About the centre
Established in 2018, the Bijayananda Patnaik Eye Centre in Kendujhar provides accessible, comprehensive, high-quality eye care to communities across the Kendujhar district of Odisha.
Part of the LVPEI Eye Care Pyramid Model, this centre is linked to the LVPEI Tertiary Eye Care Centre in Bhubaneswar for advanced surgical and specialty referrals, ensuring continuity of care.
The Centre supports 12 Vision Centres across nearby mandals and villages, providing tele-consultation and referral services for advanced eye care needs.
Patients can walk in during OPD hours or call ahead to schedule an appointment. Follow-up consultations and community camp referrals are also accepted.
The Bijayananda Patnaik Eye Centre was established with the generous support of late Dr Bijayananda Patnaik and his wife Dr Rajinder Kalsi Patnaik.
