Standard Chartered-LVPEI Academy for Eye Care Education hosted 16 webinars, and over 1300 trainees attended them. One very unique initiative was the Indian Myopia Awareness and Research Conference (IMARC) that had participants from 24 different states of India and seven countries. It will be held as an annual conference and will focus on deriving strategies needed to mitigate the problem of the rising prevalence of myopia in India and worldwide. Bug Busters Virtual – The Corneal Infection Workshop, was another successful event which attracted a lot of national and international delegates and was packed with unbounded learning.
