Dr Nihar Garg inducted into YOSI Future Leaders Academy

Dr Nihar Garg, from L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), participated as a faculty member at the International Young Ophthalmologists Society of India Conference (YOSICON) 2026, held in New Delhi, marking his first faculty engagement at the conference.
During the meeting, he served as an examiner for the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and Viva sessions in Refractive Surgery, and contributed as a panelist in the Box Club session and the Research Skill Transfer Course. He was also inducted into the YOSI Future Leaders Academy (Batch of 2026–27), recognizing his growing leadership in ophthalmology.
The OSCE session on Refractive Surgery conducted by Dr Nihar was attended by nearly 50 ophthalmology residents from India and abroad. His interactive session received enthusiastic participation and positive feedback from attendees.
The conference provided a wonderful opportunity to interact with residents and faculty, contribute to academic discussions, and learn from leaders in the field. It was truly a memorable and motivating experience.
