Dr Ashwini Kulkarni completed her MBBS from MGM Medical College, Aurangabad, completed her DNB Ophthalmology from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, New Delhi, and underwent fellowship training in Vitreoretina at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute. Currently, Dr Kulkarni is practicing as a consultant ophthalmologist at LVPEI, Vijayawada.
Dr Kulkarni is deeply committed to clinical research, academic engagement, and mentoring the next generation of ophthalmologists. She actively participates in national and international conferences to stay updated with evolving innovations in retinal care. Her areas of interest are macular and choroidal disorders, retinal imaging and vitreo-retinal surgeries.
In her free time, she enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through regular workouts, engaging in meaningful social interactions, and exploring new cafés and culinary experiences.
