Bhavik Panchal completed his primary medical education from Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai and did his Diplomate of National Board in Ophthalmology (DNB), followed by a clinical fellowship in Vitreoretina and Uveitis from L V Prasad Eye Institute.
Dr Panchal is a clinician with a keen interest in research and academics and has to his credit, several indexed publications in international peer-reviewed journals. He has presented multiple papers and poster presentations at national and international levels and has won several national and international awards. Dr Bhavik Panchal is a passionate teacher and is actively involved in the resident and fellow education. In future, he aims to take ophthalmic digital education to greater heights. Dr Panchal's clinical areas of interest are paediatric retina, retinopathy of prematurity, infectious and non-infectious uveitis, and managing complex retinal detachments.
