Dr Divya Tara completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Amritsar, and followed by her MS in Ophthalmology from Government Medical College, Patiala. She subsequently pursued a long-term fellowship in cornea and anterior segment at LVPEI. She is also a Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) and holds the fellowship of All India Collegium of Ophthalmology (FAICO) in Cornea.
Her primary clinical interests include corneal transplantation techniques (PK, DALK, DSAEK, and DMEK), cataract surgeries, and refractive procedures like PRK and LASIK. She is a member of the All India Ophthalmological Society. She has presented her work at several national and international conferences and published in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
