Mugundhan Rajarajan completed his undergraduation from Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences and went on to pursue his Masters at Rajan Eye Hospital, Chennai. Following this, he completed his three-year clinical fellowship in Comprehensive ophthalmology and Cornea and Anterior Segment at L V Prasad Eye Institute and subsequently joined the institute as a junior ophthalmologist. A dedicated ophthalmologist, treating patients for a variety of conditions. His areas of clinical interest and surgical expertise include corneal transplantation , Cataract, corneal trauma and ocular surface procedures. On the research front, he is keen on studying corneal infections and lamellar corneal surgeries. Also interested in public health management and health care delivery to remote and underprivileged areas. He is a lifetime member of the All India Ophthalmology Society, Cornea Society of India and International Council of Ophthalmology.
