Dr Sahiti Puttagunta is a Consultant in the Department of Glaucoma Services at the L V Prasad Eye Institute. She earned her medical degree from the Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Hyderabad, and completed her MS in Ophthalmology at Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital (affiliated with Osmania Medical College). She further specialized through a long-term Fellowship in Glaucoma at LVPEI.
Dr Sahiti’s clinical and research interests include secondary glaucoma and the management of ocular surface diseases in patients undergoing long-term glaucoma therapy. Her work has been recognized with Best Video Awards at the Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Congress and the Glaucoma Society of India. She holds a lifetime membership in the Glaucoma Society of India (GSI), the All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), and the Telangana Ophthalmological Society (TOS).
