Dr Suman Kumari Meena pursued her MBBS at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in Pondicherry and her MS in Ophthalmology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
She later underwent a three-year Senior Residency program at AIIMS, New Delhi, in oculoplasty, squint surgery, ocular oncology, neuro-ophthalmology, and cataract surgery.
Dr Suman holds surgical expertise in cataract, strabismus, neuro-ophthalmology, ocular oncology, orbital wall fracture repair, and oculoplasty procedures, including ptosis correction, lid reconstruction, ectropion and entropion surgery, and contracted socket surgery.
She has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and has attended several conferences and workshops. She is a life member of the All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS) and the Oculoplasty Association of India (OPAI).
