Lakshmi Kousalya Akkina earned her Bachelor’s degree in optometry with dual gold medals for exceptional academic performance. She enhanced her expertise through a clinical optometry internship at the prestigious L V Prasad Eye Institute in Visakhapatnam and specialized 3-month myopia training at the L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad campus.
Passionate about research-based myopia management, Lakshmi Kousalya actively conducts myopia advocacy and education programs across India, striving to curb the rising trend of Myopia in the country.
