Shobitha S holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Rehabilitation Science from Holy Cross College, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, and the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), New Delhi. During her college tenure, she served as President of HEPSN (Higher Education for Persons with Special Needs) in 2020-2021, providing essential educational support for individuals with visual disabilities.
Her exceptional proficiency in Rehabilitation Science earned her "The Best Outgone Gold Medal" during both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. She conducted research on “The Quality of Life of Children and Teens with Dyslexia” during her postgraduate years. Shobitha has pursued numerous professional training programs to enhance her expertise in rehabilitating individuals with special needs. Her current focus is on optimizing the overall quality of life for individuals with Cortical/Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI), deeply engaged in research to improve their lives through recent advancements and therapeutic approaches.
