Ms Shreya Swagatika Garnaik completed her Bachelor of Optometry from Centurion University of Technology and Management, Bhubaneswar, followed by her internship at L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), Hyderabad campus. Subsequently, she joined LVPEI's Mithu Tulsi Chanrai campus in Bhubaneswar, where she gained hands-on clinical experience across comprehensive eye care services.
After six months of clinical practice, she underwent one month of focused observation and training in Myopia Management at LVPEI, Hyderabad, which strengthened her interest in this specialty. At the Myopia Clinic in the Bhubaneswar campus, she is actively involved in the assessment, monitoring, and management of myopia, especially in children and young adults.
Her area of interest lies in controlling myopia progression, reducing the rate of power increase, and educating patients and parents about evidence-based myopia control strategies. She aims to provide personalized care through regular monitoring, appropriate optical interventions, and lifestyle guidance to support long-term visual health.
