Biography
Dr Anasua Ganguly Kapoor completed her basic medical education at Nilratan Sircar Medical College, Kolkata, where she received several scholarships, certificates of honour, and a gold medal in surgery. She then pursued her postgraduate residency training in ophthalmology at the All India Institute for Medical Sciences, New Delhi, followed by a two-year fellowship in ophthalmic plastic surgery, orbit, ocular oncology, and facial aesthetics from LVPEI. She later received her Diplomate of National Board in Ophthalmology (DNB) and a fellowship from the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO).
She currently serves as the Head of LVPEI’s Kode Venkatadri Chowdary campus in Vijayawada. She has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters to her credit and has also delivered several oral, poster, and video presentations at various conferences. She is actively involved in teaching and research. She is also passionate about Indian classical dance.
