Biography
Completed Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Optometry from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. Following an internship at L V Prasad Eye Institute in 2014, pursued a 13-month fellowship in Pediatric Optometry and Orthoptics at L V Prasad Eye Institute.
Subsequently worked as a Consultant Optometrist at India Vision Institute for 1.5 years and, for the past 9 years, has been serving as a Consultant Optometrist at L V Prasad Eye Institute in the Pediatric and Orthoptics Clinic.
Has actively participated in several national and international conferences focusing on orthoptics, amblyopia, and myopia. Received the Best Poster Award at the international conference of International Vision Institute and presented research work at the International Association of Orthoptists and Motility Specialists and ASCON conferences.
Invited as a guest speaker at TRICON conducted by Trilochan Netralaya, where delivered a session on “Demystifying Amblyopia by CLGEI.” Also presented talks on pediatric glass prescription in amblyopia at a conference conducted by the Bynocs team and on accommodative spasm at a CME organized by KIMS Hospital.
Research interests include accommodative spasm, amblyopia, pediatric refraction, and myopia.
