In collaboration with Global HealthX, L V Prasad Eye Institute hosted the GCC Healthcare Innovation Leadership Roundtable on August 21, 2026 at the Centre for Excellence, the Kallam Anji Reddy (KAR) campus, in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
The session brought together leaders from Hyderabad-based Global Capability Centres (GCC), representing MSD, Medtronic, WS Audiology, EPAM Systems, Olympus, Certara, and J&J MedTech. Discussions focused on how GCCs can play a larger role in driving innovation from India by building results-driven corporate innovation programs, creating effective collaboration models between GCCs, healthcare institutions and startups, and identifying opportunities for joint pilots.

The roundtable opened up an avenue for broader dialogue in terms of how India’s GCC ecosystem, clinical institutions, and healthcare innovators can come together to develop solutions that have real-world impact. The Roundtable session was complemented with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Global HealthX and L V P Eye Innovations Foundation, the innovation arm of LVPEI, to strengthen collaboration in healthcare innovation.
The signing took place in the presence of Dr Prashant Garg, Executive Chair, LVPEI; Dr Gullapalli N Rao, Founder Chairman, LVPEI; Dr Ravindranath Kancherla, Founder, Global HealthX, Mr Phani Kondepudi, Head, Technology Transfer & Entrepreneurship, and Rahul Paith, COO, Global HealthX. Through this MoU, the two organizations have established a collaborative framework across joint events and workshops, innovation programs, knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities. The collaboration combines our expertise in supporting and validating innovations in eye care with Global HealthX’s platform for venture building, startup acceleration and market access in healthcare.

The signing of the MoU marks the beginning of a broader engagement between the two ecosystems, with collaborative initiatives expected to take shape in the coming months.
