Biography
Dr Milind Naik is an expert in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and the face, and the Adjunct Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Rochester, New York.
He acquired his Ophthalmology training in 2001 from Christian Medical College, Vellore, followed by training in oculoplasty at LVPEI. He then pursued further training in orbitofacial cosmetic surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr Naik is a life member of the Asia Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (APSOPRS), an International member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), and the current Secretary of the Oculoplastics Association of India. He has also served as the Vice-President of ASOPRS from 2010 to 12.
He has 25 years of experience in eye & facial plastic surgeries, and his area of expertise includes Thyroid Eye Disease, Cosmetic eyelid and facial surgery, and Reconstructive surgery around the eye and face. He is credited with over 245 peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals and lectures extensively across the globe.
