Biography
Dr Avik Kumar Roy completed his basic medical training from Medical College, Kolkata, in 2006 and his MS in ophthalmology in 2011 from the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, SCB Medical College, Odisha. This was followed by a fellowship in glaucoma at Kallam Anji Reddy campus, Hyderabad.
He has been practicing in Glaucoma at the institute since 2013, and is experienced in managing different types and complexities of the disease. His areas of interest include both minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS) and complex glaucoma drainage device implantation.
