LVPEI Conducts Cross-Learning Session on OT Practices at MTC, Bhubaneswar

L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) conducted a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Cross-Learning Session focused on Operation Theatre (OT) policies, infection prevention protocols, and best clinical practices on June 28, 2026. The program saw a participation of 88 nursing professionals from the Mithu Tulsi Chanrai (MTC) Campus in Bhubaneswar and MTC-supported secondary centres.

The session created an important platform for knowledge exchange and mutual learning, enabling nurses from multiple centres to present and discuss their centre-specific protocols, operational practices, and on-ground experiences in maintaining high standards of patient safety and infection control within operation theatres.

Nursing personnel from the Rayagada, Balasore, Berhampur, Keonjhar, and Rajgangpur Secondary Centres actively contributed through presentations, fostering collaborative learning and helping promote greater standardization of OT procedures and quality-driven patient care practices across the LVPEI network. By encouraging cross-learning among healthcare professionals, LVPEI continues to strengthen clinical excellence, build capacity among nursing teams, and reinforce its commitment to delivering safe, high-quality eye care services across its network.
