This course will enable the participants to understand the scope of eye care programs, plan and manage the finances for the projected requirements/grant budgets, customize eye care services to a specific target population and monitor the referral pathway. The participants will learn to develop a management information system to view, analyse and control the information in a technology enabled monitoring and evaluation program. An efficient and effective way of program management will be the essential outcome of the course.

Course outline:

The two weeks course is broadly divided into three modules covering the key aspects of management of eye care programs.
Module 1: Envisioning and setting up an eye care program
Module 2: Framework for Managing an eye care program
Module 3: Monitoring and Evaluation of a program

All eye health personnel involved in eye care project/program management, planning, monitoring and evaluation of eye health services.
