About the program
The L V Prasad Eye Institute in partnership with GITAM Deemed to be University, if offering a five-year
Becherlor of Optometry (B.Optom) program.
The intial four years will be a mix of clinical training and classroom teaching. In the final year, the students are required to participate in a Clinical Intership within LVPEI’s Network of Centres.
The curriculum includes evidence-bassed learning, competency-based assessments, and the application of technology and innovation.
Eligibility
intermediate of Class 12 pass with an aggregate of 60% and above in biology or mathematics
