Hands-on Training on Command Centre Operations & Live Simulation

On August 18-19, 2026, a hands-on training on ‘Command Centre Operations and Live Simulation’ was held at the LVPEI Tertiary Centre in Bhubaneswar, the Mithu Tulsi Chanrai Campus. The session examined how LVPEI’s Walk-in Hub and Command Centre work together to improve operational efficiency, and ease patient flow.
Participants from the LVPEI Patient Care Department across the four Tertiary campuses, and the Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad, took part in the discussions. This ushered in two interventions that are set to be rolled out across respective campuses with close monitoring.
The training gave LVPEI teams a structured way to examine existing processes and identify practical opportunities to reduce time across key operations, supporting continued improvement in patient flow across all campuses. The results will help determine their effectiveness and guide further improvements.
