The 46th edition of L V Prasad Eye Institute’s (LVPEI) Low Vision Awareness Program (LAP) brought together 65 delegates for an intensive learning experience focused on strengthening knowledge and practices in low vision rehabilitation.
As one of LVPEI’s flagship programs, LAP provides a platform for clinicians and rehabilitation professionals to deepen their understanding of low vision and develop effective approaches to identifying and supporting individuals living with visual impairments.
The program combined didactic lectures, interactive hands-on sessions and case discussions, enabling participants to engage with both theoretical concepts and practical aspects of low vision rehabilitation. Participants also presented their work through paper and poster presentations.
With its blend of practical sessions and case-based discussions, the 46th LAP continued LVPEI’s efforts to strengthen professional capacity and promote effective approaches to low vision rehabilitation.
