POIESIS – V: ‘Complications & Quandaries’ Organized at LVPEI Hyderabad

POIESIS V, a one-day scientific program was organized by LVPEI Kallam Anji Reddy (KAR) Campus, on May 17, 2026. Held under the theme, ‘Complications & Quandaries’, the program focused on vitreo-clinical challenges and was led by Dr Vivek Dave, Program In-Charge and Head, Anant Bajaj Retina Institute.

The sessions covered key topics including managing diabetic macular edema (DME), how to navigate the first 48 hours of endophthalmitis and addressing complex retinal detachments. The program also featured structured debates and open-house discussions. The event concluded with a ‘Rapid-Fire Case Theatre’, specifically designed for retina specialists, fellows, and postgraduates.
