Fellowship in Contact Lenses

This unique training program in contact lenses is designed to serve three purposes – first, to train candidates to deliver the most advanced level of care currently available in contact lens technology to their patients, second, to develop skills in establishing a new contact lens practice in other cities of India, and third, to initiate, design and successfully execute a research project related to contact lens and report the outcomes in the form of a peerreviewed journal publication.

The program will offer extensive experience in the following areas:

• Fitting of soft and RGP contact lenses for all types of refractive errors, presbyopia and Aphakia
• Specialty contact lens fitting such as Rose K, Kerasoft and Scleral Lenses for Keratoconus, Pellucid marginal degeneration, post Corneal surgery, Orthokeratology, Pediatric and Prosthetic contact lens fittings
• Independent contact lens practice under the guidance of experienced professionals
• Design and execute a research project related to contact lens and communicate the findings in the form of a conference proceeding and an international peer-reviewed publication
